‘You are defending evil!’ MAGA darling rips GOP ‘psychopaths’ defending starvation in Gaza

A darling of the MAGA movement slammed the GOP on Tuesday for the party’s hesitation to address starvation in Gaza.

Candace Owens, who is currently ensnared in a defamation lawsuit with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte, made the comments Tuesday on her podcast, “Candace.” She claimed that GOP lawmakers, like Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL), who defended Israel’s efforts to withhold aid from innocent Gazans, are indefensible.

“The issue that Zionists are having, the broader issue that you are having, is that you are defending evil,” Owens said. “You are behaving like psychopaths, and it’s caught up.”

Since the war in Gaza began in 2023, Israel has largely prevented Gazans from receiving foreign aid. At times, Israel’s political leaders have shot at and killed innocent Gazans as they lined up to receive food and other aid.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has defended these actions by saying Hamas is stealing aid from Gazans. U.S. foreign aid workers have said that the claim is untrue.

Meanwhile, images continue to surface of children facing malnutrition in Gaza. World health leaders have also said Gaza is on the brink of famine because of Israel’s actions.

Owens pushed back against lawmakers who she said have called on people protesting Israel to lose their jobs. President Donald Trump signed an executive order in January prohibiting anti-Israel protests on college campuses.

“You are pretending that people are not starving in Gaza,” Owens said. “You are mocking images of children who are starving, saying they deserve that. And, you can only behave like a sadistic, psychopathic, murderous individual for so long before the world takes notice.”
