‘Unprecedented’: Ex-GOP insider flags ‘evidence’ Trump ‘thinks his supporters are garbage’

Donald Trump on Saturday was accused of committing “unprecedented treachery” as he displays “disdain” for his own supporters.

According to Steve Schmidt, an independent political strategist who worked on former President George W. Bush’s campaign, Trump recently showed his hate for MAGA.

“The 35-word presidential oath, first sworn by George Washington, obligates the president of the United States to ‘preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.’ Donald Trump has desecrated the US Constitution. He has been aided in his treachery by an unprecedented assemblage of sycophants, extremists, opportunists and appeasers, who have become detached from the responsibilities that come with the privileges of office in a democratic republic,” he wrote. “Donald Trump has attacked dissent, facts, science and basic decency that have revealed him for what he is — and has always been.”

After calling Trump a “fascist” and “buffoon,” Schmidt said, “Trump is president of the United States. He has assaulted the cornerstones of the American civilization for over a decade. He has eradicated over that short time the attachment of scores of tens of millions of people to the basic conception of their rights and liberties.”

He then added, “He has deluded his aggrieved and angry mobs into believing that the masked men have boundaries that protect them, but the truth is that Trump thinks his supporters are garbage.”

“He disdains them,” Schmidt said, pointing to the “evidence” for his claim.

“The evidence of this is Ghislaine Maxwell’s looming pardon. The abused girls were the anonymized and faceless children of the invisible people in America. They are the ones who get paper straws, lectures from the media, 32% interest rates on their credit cards, absurd tuitions, higher prices and less opportunity. Trump promised to stand up for those people, but of course, like every deal that he has ever made it was, well, bull—-,” Schmidt wrote. “What Trump has assembled around him are the most absurd and dangerous group of American people who have ever held political power in America.”

The political strategist alleges, “They have opened concentration camps. They are torturing human beings behind the walls on direct orders from government officials. They have sold human beings to a foreign dictator, who has abused them with cruel and inhumane punishments.”

“They have lied to the American people about big things and small. They have targeted political opponents, and abused their power to seek revenge against their enemies,” he then added. “They have used their positions to enrich themselves with corrupt acts all over the world that have sold out the national interest for personal gain.”
