MAGA media star Megyn Kelly eviscerated Donald Trump, blasting his administration’s catastrophic handling of the Jeffrey Epstein controversy as a series of “unforced errors” that left her with zero sympathy for the embattled president.
Kelly didn’t hold back during her appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, unleashing a withering critique of Trump’s tone-deaf response to an explosive DOJ announcement that debunked conspiracy theories about Epstein’s 2019 prison death — theories firmly believed by the president’s MAGA base.
“Now the president’s very annoyed that it won’t go away. It won’t go away because of the way he’s handled it,” Kelly declared, delivering a brutal reality check to Trump world.
The former Fox News host systematically dismantled the administration’s over what she said was its bumbling approach, particularly torching Attorney General Pam Bondi’s decision to quietly release a memo during a slow news cycle that sex trafficker Epstein did not leave behind a client list.
Kelly called out Trump’s FBI picks—Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino—for hypocrisy after they previously pushed Epstein murder conspiracies before going silent once in power.
“Whoever told the Justice Department that this could somehow be buried should be fired,” Kelly declared. “That person is an idiot and didn’t understand the Republican base.”
The administration’s desperate scramble for grand jury transcripts and interviews with convicted Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell only reinforced their incompetence, Kelly argued.
“Can we really trust anything this woman says when it’s either this—give something up—or spend 20 years in jail?” she asked, exposing the futility of their damage control efforts.
“This is self-inflicted” political malpractice that has left Trump’s own supporters questioning his credibility on one of their core conspiracy theories, Kelly said.
