One of Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawyers, Alan Dershowitz, is claiming people on Martha’s Vineyard are discriminating against him, so he intends to sue his way into the community. But an anti-LBGTQ ruling from the Supreme Court could doom his lawsuit.
Dershowitz, who defended President Donald Trump during his first impeachment hearing, was caught on video accusing a local vendor of discriminating against him. The vendor allegedly refused to serve Dershowitz, who complained about the incident during his Rumble show. Dershowitz thinks that it’s due to his support for Israel, not his association with Trump or Epstein.
“I’m suing!” Dershowitz yelled.
National security lawyer Bradley P. Moss noted that Dershowitz could encounter problems due to a Supreme Court ruling regarding the baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a same-sex marriage.
“I would claim religious freedom under Masterpiece Cakeshop and tell him to pound sand,” said Moss.
“USSC said the lady didn’t have to sell a cake to the gay couple, so there is precedent. Unless the USSC twists itself up into a pretzel for Dershowitz,” another legal commentator remarked with a link to details about the past case.
In his video, Dershowitz complained that he was also blocked from going to the Martha’s Vineyard book fair, said his books have been banned from the library in 2022, and wasn’t invited to parties.
