‘Quit whining’: Ex-Trump lawyer raked across the coals after reigniting war over perogi

Former Jeffrey Epstein lawyer and Donald Trump impeachment defender Alan Dershowitz escalated his war against perogi chef Krem Miskevich on Monday, alleging that his discrimination was about anti-semitism.

Last week, Dershowitz melted down after he was denied the dumplings at the farmer’s market in Martha’s Vineyard, where the lawyer summers. On Monday, he escalated it.

“I’m suing!” Dershowitz can be heard yelling during the incident last week.

According to a post from witness and local Chris Holbert, three vendors refused Dershowitz. Holbert also noted that witnesses were scared to speak out “because he sues everyone here.”

At the time, Dershowitz didn’t specify what he was suing. But on Monday, Dershowitz claimed that the denial of service was due to his Jewish faith.

A 2012 report reported that Martha’s Vineyard was once a “conservative enclave,” but it “has given way to a reliable liberal stronghold.”

But according to Dershowitz, “Miskevich is a “bigot” and “a notorious anti-semite who is part of an anti-semitic organization that protests Jewish — not only Israeli— cultural events and doesn’t believe in Israel’s right to exist or to respond to what these haters regard as the ‘justified’ massacres of Oct 7.

“If I knew that the local rabbi correctly characterized their anti-Jewish protests as anti-semitic, I would never have tried to buy their tainted perogi. Neither should you. Don’t patronize anti-semites who refuse to sell to Jewish Zionists. Fight back against bigotry.”

According to Newsweek, the vendor alleged, “I won’t sell them to you because I don’t approve of your politics. I don’t approve of who you’ve represented. I don’t approve of who you support.”

Discrimination against somebody for political views isn’t protected under the law Dershowitz suggests he will use in his suit. Religion, however, is.

In 2021, Dershowitz complained that he “lost a lot of friends” in Martha’s Vineyard over his relationship with Trump.

The overwhelming consensus in the comments came from those who allege it has more to do with Dershowitz’s association with Epstein.

“Honestly, I am betting he did not sell them to you because you are a gigantic a–hole who loved Epstein,” said X influencer Tony Posnanski.

TikTok political commentator BostonSmalls posted an old column from Dershowitz where he alleged “statutory rape is an outdated concept.” Smalls alleged, “Remember that time you were besties with Epstein, then wrote this op-ed. Classic.”

Singer, songwriter and music producer Glen Carroll commented, “And don’t listen to pedophiles, racists, xenophobes, and douche-wits. What a sad, pathetic little irrelevant man. They can’t stand him on that island. He deserves to be shun (sic) like the social leper he is. He is the pariah of Martha’s Vineyard and now he’s crying like a little whiny b—h. F–k you a–hole. The more you cry the more people are going f–k with you and I love that for you b–h.”

Some noted that Dershowitz’s attack on the chef and the company gave them free publicity.

“You are the reason no one likes you, Alan. Quit whining,” one woman said, including a meme reading “Remember: Nobody really cares about your problems.”
