‘One of the worst!’ Trump lashes out at reporter when pressed on major ‘discrepancy’

President Donald Trump continues to get questions from reporters about the scandal surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and his conflicting statements.

Speaking to reporters Tuesday from Air Force One on the return from Scotland, Trump was asked about his White House, saying the reason that Epstein was kicked out of Mar-a-Lago was because he was a “creep.” Yet, when Trump spoke to the press on Monday, he said that it was a result of Epstein poaching staff from Mar-a-Lago.

“Mr. President, you said yesterday your falling out with Jeffrey Epstein was over him taking some of the workers from your business. But your administration in the past said you threw him out because he was a ‘creep.’ Can you explain that discrepancy?” the reporter asked.

“They’re the same thing, you know? A little bit of the same thing. But he took people that worked for me and I told him don’t do it anymore and he did it. And I said stay the hell out of here,” he replied.

The reporter followed up, “So is that what was meant by being a ‘creep?’”

When Trump asked the reporter who she was, the reporter answered that she was with NBC News.

“NBC? NBC Fake News. Ok. NBC’s one of the worst. What else do you have?” Trump snapped.

During his first term, Trump was known to respond with quick two-word statements on matters he didn’t want to talk about. The phrases included “fake news,” “no collusion,” “Russian hoax,” “witch hunt,” and “perfect call.”

Speaking to the press Monday, Trump said, “Very easy to explain. But I don’t want to waste your time by explaining it. But for years, I wouldn’t talk to Jeffrey Epstein. I wouldn’t talk because he did something that was inappropriate. He hired help, and I said, don’t ever do that again. He stole people that worked for me. I said, don’t ever do that again. He did it again. And I threw him out of the place, persona non grata. I threw him out, and that was it.”

The first Epstein accuser to come forward publicly was Virginia Giuffre, a former Mar-a-Lago locker room attendant who was under 18 when she testified that Ghislaine Maxwell offered her an interview for the chance to train as a massage therapist. Ultimately, she told the BBC that she was “passed around like a platter of fruit” to Epstein and his friends.

She accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse three times, which he continues to deny.

Virginia Giuffre died by suicide in April.

So, it’s possible Trump is referring to Giuffre, who was poached from Mar-a-Lago and also sexually abused by Epstein.

In another conversation with a reporter aboard Air Force One, Trump described staff who were taken from his Mar-a-Lago spa.

“Well, I don’t want to say, but everyone knows the people that were taken, and it was the concept of taking people that work, for me, is bad, but that story has been pretty well out there, and the answer is yes, they were in the spa,” Trump said according to TNND. “People that work in this five-star great spa, one of the best spas in the world, at Mar-a-Lago, and people were taken out of the spa hired by him.”

“I didn’t know that, and then when I heard about it, I told him, I said, listen, we don’t want you taking our people, whether it was spa or not spa,” Trump continued. “I don’t want to take your people. And he was fine. And then not too long after that, he did it again. And I said, out of here.”
