GOP operative’s husband arrested on predator charges — after voting Trump to save the kids

The husband of a Republican operative in Wisconsin, who proudly proclaimed he was voting for Donald Trump to take on child predators, has been arrested on child predator charges.

According to The Daily Beast, Scott Soucek, who is married to the Door County Republican Party chairwoman and former Republican National Convention Delegate Stephanie Soucek, posted on Facebook that he was backing Trump “to fight against human/child trafficking,” on behalf of “my children and my grandchildren.” He also posted social media memes accusing former President Joe Biden of inappropriately touching children.

But on July 24, according to the report, Soucek “was arrested … and accused of accessing hundreds of child porn images through a file-sharing system.”

This is not even the first time: “More than 15 years before that post, Door County investigators analyzed his laptop, and he admitted to downloading child porn images in 2009. However, he was never charged with a crime,” said the report. But now, he’s in much bigger trouble, as a law enforcement complaint “includes horrifying descriptions of the explicit images that were downloaded to an IP address believed to belong to Soucek in March of this year.”

Stephanie Soucek has made a name for herself in MAGA circles, even sitting for an interview with Steve Bannon on his “War Room” show.

She has reportedly paid the bond in her husband’s case, which, if it leads to a conviction, could land him a sentence of up to 25 years in prison.

This comes just a couple of weeks after Kyle Colton, one of the hundreds of Jan. 6 rioters who received a pardon from Trump, was convicted in a similar case involving illegal child pictures.
