Former CIA Director John Brennan appeared on MSNBC on Thursday morning to do some damage control as the Trump Admin releases new Russiagate documents exposing the Russia collusion hoax and the Deep State officials involved in the plot.
Brennan on Thursday insisted that the Steele dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton “played no role” in the intel assessment report.
This is, of course, a lie.
Documents released by Tulsi Gabbard and John Ratcliffe prove that John Brennan included the Steele dossier in the intel assessment report to derail Trump’s 2016 campaign.
CIA Director John Ratcliffe recently announced that a new CIA report reveals former FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and DNI James Clapper worked together to purposely corrupt the Trump-Russia investigation in 2016 before Trump entered office.
The three corrupt Obama officials included the Steele Dossier in their quest to “screw Trump” knowing at the time that the Steele Dossier was full of lies.
MSNBC asked Brennan about the new Russiagate documents and the DOJ’s strike force team assembled to investigate the hoax.
Brennan nervously replied, “Putting together an internal strike force to take a look at this information is certainly understandable, but I also like to think that the professionals at the Department of Justice will dismiss any of these [criminal] referrals because they are baseless because they really are. So, I stand ready to talk about the assessment and what we did during that period of time.”
“There was absolutely no conspiracy and we continue to stand behind what we said publicly,” Brennan said.
MSNBC asked Brennan on Thursday if he’s “worried” that he will be punished for his role in the Russiagate after the DOJ created a ‘strike force’ to investigate the coup plotters.
“Well, I guess they’re going to what they’re going to do,” Brennan said. “I just feel as though what we did was right. It was legitimate. It was based on our authorities and responsibilities. We would have been derelict if we didn’t do these things.”
To be clear, Brennan is arguing that the intel community would have been ‘derelict’ if they didn’t take Hillary Clinton’s phony Russia dossier and open an investigation into then-candidate Donald Trump and then continue to spy on him while he was US President.
