‘Bootlicking scumbag’ Charlie Kirk ripped for saying people ‘don’t belong’ after NYC shooting

Social media is dragging Pro-Trump infuencer Charlie Kirk over comments he made in connection to a fatal Manhattan shooting that killed four, including one NYPD officer.

“Was just in NYC all weekend with our family,” Kirk posted. “Never felt safe. So many people in the city who don’t belong. Praying for all involved.”

Police identified Las Vegas resident Shane Tamura, 27, as the suspect in the shooting at 345 Park Avenue, which houses NFL headquarters. While a motive has yet to be identified, CNN reports Tamura, who took his own life, had left a suicide note expressing grievances with the NFL and for falling victim to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), a progressive, degenerative brain disease found in individuals with a history of repetitive head trauma. Sources told CNN that Tamura had once been a competitive football player.

Kirk issued his social media attack on otherness despite Tamura attending high school in the U.S. and being described by high school friends as never causing “any problems … in the locker room or on the field.”

Critics torched Kirk for his cowardice.

“NYC is probably the safest big city in America, and one of the safest big cities in the world. If you don’t feel safe there, it’s a *you* problem,” posted Tangle News founder Isaac Saul on X.

“The Republicans are alphas but also live in perpetual fear of stepping foot outside. By the way, Charlie’s bio says he lives in Arizona, which has higher violent crime per capita than New York,” said political commentator Brian Taylor Cohen.

Other commenters razed Kirk’s off-the-cuff racism before knowing the facts.

“The cop who was slain was a Bangledeshi immigrant,” posted stand-up comedian J.L. Cauvin on X. “You probably walked by him thinking ‘he doesn’t belong here.’ You give prayer a bad name you lying, bootlicking scumbag. Go debate some teens, swallow Trump’s cheeto dust and shut the f——— up.”

Police identified NYPD officer Didarul Islam—a 36-year-old immigrant from Bangladesh and father of two — as one of Tamaru’s victims. Islam lived in the Bronx and had served on the force for about three and a half years. He was part-timing as security in the lobby of the NFL office building when Tamura opened fire on him with an AR-15-style rifle.

“Kirk, who is an anti-immigrant Islamophobe, wrote this post without knowing at the time, I assume, that the NYPD officer who gave his life today was a Bangladeshi Muslim immigrant,” posted Zeteo news reporter Mehdi Hasan.

‘America Saga’ writer Zaid Jilani pointed out in her own post that “Phoenix, where Charlie lives, has a homicide rate twice as high as NYC.”

“Sounds like who didn’t belong was you b————,” snapped Los Angeles writer and X user Chase Mitchell.
