‘It’s over’: Behind the Trump supporters who want you to ‘get over’ the Epstein crisis

While several high‑profile figures on the far right have publicly criticized the Trump administration over its handling of the documents related to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, many grassroots MAGA voters appear undeterred by the scandal.

Media personalities such as Tucker Carlson and activist Laura Loomer — alongside tech billionaire Elon Musk and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) — have slammed what they see as the administration’s mishandling of Epstein-related documents.

But the Guardian reported Sunday that in communities across Middle America, including Johnstown, Pennsylvania — once a Democratic bastion that swung decisively for President Donald Trump in 2024 — many Trump loyalists are largely indifferent.

According to the report, they remain focused on issues like inflation control, border security, and reversing progressive policies. “Trump is right about everything, no matter what he does … Epstein – he’s dead, that’s it, it’s over,” one supporter told Guardian.

,Another Trump voter was quoted in the report as saying, “Trump is right about everything, no matter what he does.” “‘Epstein – he’s dead, that’s it, it’s over.’”

Asked about reports that Trump’s name appeared in the Epstein files, he said: “That’s a bunch of b——-.”

He added: “The world should move on, get over it.”

Still, other MAGA supporters and lawmakers are pressing for action: Rep. Eric Burlison (R‑MO) told CNN that constituent calls demanding disclosure of Epstein files outnumber other issues by 500 to 1.

Figures such as Lauren Boebert have publicly called for a special counsel, while Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and other House Republicans support releasing grand jury testimony and full records on the case.
